Cost
- Annual membership fee: $600
- Initiation fee: $4,000
- Slip fee: $25 per foot (measured by slip length)
- Member and designated significant other are cumulatively required to work a minimum of twenty (20) hours per year. Every hour not fulfilled will be assessed at $50 per unworked hour.
Application Process
1. Complete the appropriate application below.
- Applicants must be sponsored by two CPYC members in good standing, and documented on application.
2. Submit application to Membership Chair at cpycerie.membership@gmail.com along with…
- Copy of boat insurance with liability amount of $300,000 (must be in applicant’s legal name)
- Copy of boat registration (must be in applicant’s legal name)
- Copy of applicant’s drivers license
- If applicable, copy of designated significant other’s drivers license (or drivers license address change card)
- Payment
3. Once your application is submitted, applicants can only become members after:
- Your vessel’s length over all (LOA) has been measured and verified by CPYC
- Your request for membership is published in the club newsletter 14 days prior to being voted on
- The club members successfully vote in favor of your application
Junior Membership
CPYC allows for junior members to join the club at a reduced membership cost. Junior members must be sponsored by their parent or guardian. The parent or guardian must be in good standing and is responsible to CPYC for any liability of the junior member.
